Bristol Bay Lodge is a remote yet elegant lodge located within the pristine wilderness of Alaska’s Wood-Tikchik State Park, the largest and perhaps most unique state park in America.
Bristol Bay and Western Alaska are blessed with the largest sockeye salmon run in the world. Because of consistent and wise management practices, we fish in one of the world’s last sustainable Pacific salmon fisheries. The rivers this lodge operates are healthy and harbor large populations of all 5 species of Pacific Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, and Grayling.
Strategically located between Wood-Tikchik State Park and the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge, our close proximity to both watersheds provides guests with extraordinary angling opportunities, rarely equaled anywhere in the world.
Bristol Bay Lodge’s forty-five years experience has given a thorough understanding of the Bristol Bay area and the knowledge to design a fishing program that maximizes your opportunities and fishing experience.
Weather permitting, you will fish a new and different location each day while at Bristol Bay Lodge, catch every species of fish available, and enjoy the total and ultimate Alaskan fishing experience!
Bristol Bay Lodge has been ranked the fourth best fishing lodge in the world by Forbes Magazine and the best of all Alaskan lodges. That is saying a lot, but Steven Laurent and his staff work hard to live up to the reputation and are certain when you book a fishing trip to their lodge, it’s an experience you will talk about for years to come and a memory you will cherish. With a trip to Alaska, you expect adventure, but you may be pleasantly surprised at the level of style and elegance found within this unique lodge. Bristol Bay Lodge offers not only one of a kind, spectacular views of Alaska, but also sophisticated yet comfortable dining and gathering places, and sleeping accommodations that include all the comforts of home combined with the expected amenities of a fine hotel.
After an exhilarating day of fishing, the lodge’s decks are a favorite gathering place for appetizers, cocktails, and our weekly barbecues as weather permits. Enjoy the hot tub or sauna and feel your worries and stress melt away under a huge wilderness night sky full of stars. We guarantee you’ve never seen anything like the award-winning Bristol Bay Lodge, and we invite you to experience the beauty, excitement, and adventure available here at the “end of the world”.
In addition to the eight spacious bedrooms in the main lodge, there are four comfortable and private cabins set around the grounds. These cedar cabins are often used for small groups or families. Each has its own character and offers the kind of scenic view of Lake Aleknagik for which you choose our Alaska lodge.
