This was a great trip. Chad, the owner of Sandspit Resort was great help and very personable. He did more than what some would do by adding an extra day of fishing since our plane was delayed. All of the resort crew, from the waitresses to the ones that take care of the rooms were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were new along with the boats. Our guide, Brock was energetic and very helpful. He taught us how to fish for the salmon and lingcod, from different way of fishing on the bottom to setting the hook. He was probably one of the best guides I have ever had fishing.
It was not our first time to fish for salmon but it is still enjoyable to learn different ways to fish. We shipped back several pounds of fish that was cleaned and vacuum packed then flash frozen in individual portions. This was all done on Sandspit site with their own processing plant. Overall I would recommend Sandspit, it was very enjoyable.
